fBlue WP-theme released

I’m currently working on a new theme for WordPress called fBlue. Here is a screenshot. Please tell me what you think of this one. I got my inspiration for this theme from Trevor Delamorandiere. Theme available for download here.

fMoblog version 1.3

I recently updated the fMoblog plugin for WordPress. Now it’s possible to show more thumbs in the sidebar from the latest images. I also fixed some issues regarding permalinks and adjusted the css and layout to fit IE since this excellent browser (not) does’nt render floating divs correctly. Left floating divs are supposed to wrap to the next row if the space is to small for the whole div to fit. IE fails to do this, so some adjustments had to be made.

I currently use Firefox which is a standard compliant browser and therefore render the floating divs correctly. I did not now about this bug, and thanks to Mr Brendan drawing my attention to this I managed to fix this issue. Version 1.3 is now up for downloading.

I also added for the user to choose how often the mail box should be checked.

fQuick WP sidenotes plugin released

For some time ago I felt I needed a quick way to post sidenotes on my blog whithout having to make a new link category and format my template to show only that particular category. I had three things I wanted this to be able to do:

  1. Quick insertion of sidenotes with link.
fQuick plugin let me input a title an adress and a description.
  2. Decide how many notes WordPress should display.
From the options page in WordPress admin I can decide how many notes I want displayed.
  3. Easy to install and style.
The only thing I have to do is activate the plugin and add the function call fquick_get() to where I want my sidenotes to appear.

You can see the result in my sidebar to the right. One downside with this one is the lack of RSS feed. However it doesn’t feel that nessesary to be able to get feed from this kind of notes. When I have the time I will probably add RSS feed fetaure to fQuick. If you want to try it out you can find it at the plugin page.
